Important ASS Update for the race on 2/28

IMPORTANT ASS UPDATE!

The last Abominable Snow Series race of the year scheduled for Saturday, February 28, will be cancelled. The trails have fallen apart in the recent warm spell and there doesn't seem to be an end in sight.

Thanks to everyone that volunteered, you guys made the series happen this year. Thanks to Mike and Kent of Bear Tooth for providing swag, beverages, and soup at the races. Thanks to Laura of the Eagle River Nature Center for directing the Icy River Rampage. And a special thanks to all you ASS racers for putting up with and enduring the last few rough winters!

Abominable #3 Alaska Fat Bike State Championship

The last Abominable of the year is closing in fast! As of now, the race is still on, however if the weather and snow conditions deteriorate too much in the upcoming warmth and rain, we will have to cancel the race. So stay tuned, we will keep an eye on the trail conditions out at Kincaid and keep you all updated. In the meantime, check out the race information below as a few things have changed from previous updates.

Abominable Super D Results

Abominable Super D Start List - Saturday 1/31/15 at 6PM

Below is the Abominable Super D Start List. Bib Pick Up/Sign In - 5:00pm to 5:45pm at Glen Alps Racer Meeting - 5:45pm Start - 6:00pm at Glen Alps Finish - Hilltop Overflow Lot at STA Trails There will be Soup and Drinks and Door Prizes at the finish provided by Bear Tooth!

Abominable Super D and Icy River Rampage Updates

Now that the Holidays are over we can begin to think about the upcoming Abominable Races. Both the Abominable Super D and Icy River Rampage races are fast approaching. The Abominable Super D is Saturday, January 31 at 6pm at Glen Alps and the Icy River Rampage is Saturday, February 7 at 11am.

As of now there are only 3 spots left for the Abominable Super D, so show up to Chain Reaction Cycles as soon as you can to Sign up or get yourself on the waiting list.
